From our families
My experience with the Suzuki School for Strings has been truly a life changing journey from beginner cello student to performing with orchestras! My teacher Peter Brubaker made me feel comfortable learning an instrument yet challenged me to learn a huge variety of repertoire. The opportunity to perform with group classes and orchestra within the school walls prepared me for all types of ensemble playing and for performing with other orchestras throughout the state and in Alaska! All of the teachers are very professional, encouraging, and friendly. I highly recommend the Suzuki School for Strings for an educational experience on any musical instrument!
There are electric devices and internet everywhere now days and kids spent all their times at phones and games after school. I don’t think that will do any good for them. I decided to send my kid for violin to Suzuki School of Strings two years ago. Ms Julie Supple is an excellent violin teacher. She is full of knowledge and patience. My son just loves her teaching. He makes great progress at violin and plays violin at different places. His pictures of playing violin are published a few times at local newspaper such as Times Tributes, Abington Journal and Scranton Times. I believe he is more confident and he is doing great at school. Learning music not only gives him chance of learning knowledge but also a chance to learn discipline, endurance. He knows life is harder than playing games. We also spend more time to talk and to stay together to practice. I recommend everybody who loves his/her kids to send them to Suzuki School of String to learn music.
Suzuki School for Strings brought beautiful music into my home since 2013 when my oldest son began cello lessons with Jean Brubaker. The same year that he went away to college Mrs. Brubaker began teaching my youngest son Bass. Not only has Mrs. Brubaker been instrumental in the advancement of both of my sons to High School District Orchestra but she has brought smiles to their faces at each and every lesson.
